"When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." -Buddhist proverb
The best way to show that you are a "ready" student is by asking questions.
Very few ask questions. Maybe they think it's a sign of weakness but in most cases it's due to pride.
Is your pride in the way of your education?
According to dictionary.com, pride is "a high inordinate opinion of one's own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in bearing, conduct, etc."
Pride most often originates from comparing ourselves to others. It is widely spread due to the presence of relative peace. Men, having nothing better to do, compare themselves to others.
Show me a man with pride and I will show you a man with limited options. Pride limits your own ability to grow. So be humble and ask questions?
